I took an example of a passage that had a 99.8% chance of being written by AI and told ChatGPT to make it sound more like a human. I tested it again and it said there a .04% chance it was AI generated.

So it will literally take about five additional seconds for a student to successfully cheat.

The problem is that's too much effort for most people who are actually going to just use ChatGPT to cheat. If it takes more than zero effort, its not going to happen.

In my experience, I've seen ChatGPT outputs where the person didn't even bother editing out ChatGPT saying "sure, here's [what you asked it to do]"

It kinda feels like people who cheat with ChatGPT are ruining the dream of a future where you can just do all your learning at work or homework at home and just go in for work or class to socialize or if you need in-person help with something and whatnot. ChatGPT makes it so you need to be there in person for a number of of things to make sure they get done right and by you.

Like on one hand it's a good thing, but still.
