...storm? just saw this yesterday. The cop that had to respond to that and get out of his car must not have been too happy. It's bad enough when you get in a car accident when it isn't raining

No, the only bad wreck I've been in it wasn't raining but it was evening time and looked like it was going to rain. Pulled out to turn left and got tboned... I swear to this day I never saw the other car.

Could have been a lot worse. Totalled my parent's car. I wasn't wearing a seatbelt so hit the windshield pretty hard. I think I had a concussion because I blacked out and when I came to I couldn't even dial 911 on my cellphone. Luckily someone else called and I came to enough to call my parents. My cousin was riding with me and was a little banged up but ok. The other car had some young kids in the backseat and I remember telling the ambulance to check on them first.

The reason I wasn't wearing a seatbelt is because where you latch it was broken. It was impossible to wear one. I refuse to drive anything without a working seatbelt now. And pester my kids every single time we go somewhere to make sure they're buckled. Hopefully it'll stick with them.

Versus on the side of a real good rainstorm.
