I've been doing 10 hour sessions on days I'm off work without stopping and I still want to do more

I don't know why I didn't notice this in Breath of the Wild, but I finished rebuilding Lurelin Village in TotK and realized it's just Outset Island from Wind Waker (although obviously not an island anymore)

I imagine it's just a reference. Aren't all the islands in Windwaker mountain tops?

I saw the title of this thread and thought "that is not an endorsement." I hope you all enjoy the game, but I can't imagine spending all of that time before hitting one major milestone. Remember when you had to play a game several times to rack up 100 hours? Remember how that was before you had jobs or responsibilities? I am a bit envious, I'll admit. I spent more time playing Blitzball at the first save point I possibly could than I did beating the main game. Milk whatever aspect of the game you like to its fullest. Love it and enjoy it. But man, how do you make time for that? THAT is a skill I don't know.

This is 100% a SHINE thing though. I've seen plenty of people beat the game at like 50 hours. It's the type of game that you can get nearly as many hours of enjoyment from it as you personally choose. I finally put it down myself after about 255 hours, over double the hours I spent in BotW. Did *almost* everything there is to do.

The average person would not play that long before doing the first dungeon. It's just the way some people like to save everything mandatory for the end.

I have 290 hours in the game and I still have like 50 sidequests to do from what I recall. Most of those were uninteresting though and I did all the Side Adventures because most of those were cool.

I did however do a bunch of grinding on bosses to upgrade gear, and maybe side quests are more fun than that! Gotta finish upgrading the Shrine reward gear though because I want to always look like that now

let's see what my actual completion percentage was. I'm not sure what counts towards it and what doesn't because like I didn't go and defeat every single mini boss out there, but I did get a good chunk of them

What how's that possible? Didn't realize you were doing all the Koroks too! Were you using a guide or like how the heck did you find them all

after I finished exploring a region I pulled up NintendoLife's korok maps to get the ones I missed since they have them all numbered by region making it easy to double check

I still got enough Korok seeds to max out the whole inventory and I probably should have ignored more of them! Those precious slots tho
