Realistically I'll still be playing BG3 all month, with maybe a break for Pokemon DLC.

Curious about Baten Kaitos as well. Otherwise just Trails. Maybe some stuff down the line like MK1, Fate, Lies of P, Enchanted Portals, Minekos Night Market, Fae Farm and Eternights

I'll grab Baten Kaitos eventually.

Supposedly not at all

It's a spinoff in a different universe. I've seen theories that McBurn comes from the Nayuta universe, but there's mostly just a couple easter eggs.

Switch version had QoL improvements and graphic updates the PS4 version didnt have. Since Nayuta is also a PSP game originally Im asking if the same thing is gonna happen

Very interested in Samurai Remnant and Lies of P but I'm probably going to take the month off of new releases after finishing AC6 to do some replays and maybe some indie games I've had on the backburner. Especially want to replay Alan Wake to refresh myself for October.

Were these also included in the Steam release? My understanding was the Steam versions were the definitive ports bc of a ton of tweaks by Durante and his team.

From those, I guess Starfield. I'm going to wait on that until I hear broader user reviews. I've got a few games lined up for September, two of which are time sinks.

dq infinity strash/the adventures of dai
rhapsody 2 and 3 which technically still count since the pal console release is on the 1st/2nd lol (already very much accessible on pc tho)
also monochrome mobius on ps4

and i suppose i'll also be keeping an eye on ys x too in case a demo drops for the japanese release or something

and maybe also gluck/tales of sirius/crocapoca/up to par/afterdream/puzzles for clef/phantom zone daimonz (they're still only "q3" releases)

I had absolutely no interest in Starfield until a few weeks ago. I didn't learn anything new about the game, something just clicked in my head from "doesn't sound fun" to "sounds fun".

Maybe I hit my head or something, IDK.

A bunch of reviewers are acting like they're preparing their bunkers for when they have to go underground after the embargo for Starfield lifts, and whether that's "this game is getting a low 70's average" energy or "This game is going to end up 95+" energy is completely indecipherable.

it's obviously no secret that i like a lot of things, and so there's always so many games that i wish i could get all of myself day 1, and since i can't telling others about them is kind of a way i effectively compensate lol (especially since i feel like if i don't say it, everyone here will only get something like starfield and most likely never know these are even a thing, so, like, for anyone that cares, i'm glad to get comments like this to know they are appreciated in some way)

putting these posts out also just helps me keep better track of which of the ones i want to prioritise, with so many things across multiple platforms that i'm incredibly inconsistent about what i want to play it on, i honestly do come back to them even in later months myself just so i can vaguely attempt to plan out my game budget slightly better

highly recommend to anyone that isn't familiar with some of those titles to look into them since i think they're all cool and i really have no idea which ones i'm going to be prioritising this time

it's possible it'll end up being none of them at least for now since i still have a ton of the stuff i mentioned from the last few months at very high priority levels

(even from around this past week alone, i'm just reeling from not having enough to get any of ac6/rhapsody (well, i guess i was most likely going to get it on switch anyway but lol)/OU/ghostpia on pc/alice escaped on switch yet

((at the very least it gave me a great excuse to put in a lot of time into my most anticipated free to play title of the year (Aster Tatariqus, a mobile srpg with all the production values to completely rival modern (switch) fire emblem titles) which also just launched, and scope out its soundtrack which is actually fantastic. shamelessly bringing it up here in the unlikely event the global version also launches in september, i'm guessing it's still 2 or 3 months out though))

not to mention even in my last few posts from this past month's topic i hadn't yet noticed several other games from this month that are also very high priority, like touhou 19 (big oops), white album, clover day's, the new samba de amigo game i did know was a thing but totally forgot about, and retro mystery club vol 1: the iseshima case, a classic famicom detective club homage which i already had the untranslated version of from a number of years back and really want to pick up now that i know it got a surprise localisation... it's hard to fit in anything when being constantly bombarded with all of this, all while still trying to find time for the stuff i did pick up this month)

anyway finally world of horror for indie goty contender? keeping my fingers crossed it delivers
