Definitely didn't have a dream where a friend of mine got his head crushed by a truck, no siree.

Never had a dream where a friend died but I've had dreams where my mom died and I've told her about them. It's not that stressful to say! Felt better than keeping it to myself actually.

It's just a dream, why not

I had a dream my friend got eaten by a T Rex. Definitely kept that to myself so he didn't go out and buy a bunch of Dino Spray.

So a friend of mine told a Discord group that I'm in that he dreamed that I died of COVID.

Then another friend misread that and she was really shocked and saddened.

...well, I'm thankful that she felt that way, but man that was a weird experience.

Yeah sure, but not like to warn them (I'm not superstitious), more to just let off steam. Like I do with any nightmare I have, it feels good to talk about it. Now if they're prone to panicking, I'd probably just "vent" to someone else.

I don't generally talk about dreams with people because it's boring. Like, have you ever actually cared when someone is telling you about their dream?

If it was a particularly notable or gruesome death, maybe. But really, who cares about stuff that happens in an area where logic doesn't exist and anything can happen without any particular meaning.

Depends on the friend really. If they'd be more amused than freaked out I'll tell em.

People die in my dreams all the time if i told them every time it'd get boring.

Yes If it was in a funny way or especially weird, just as conversation not as any kind of warning. Otherwise no because who cares.

I had a friend in high school that often dreamed of members of our friend group dying, sometimes in very weird ways. It was fun to talk about.

I can't think of a single time a friend has died in one of my dreams. I mean it's entirely possible, you tend to forget dreams fairly quickly.

That being said, I can safely say the answer is no because I don't think I've ever even discussed a dream with anyone except my wife and even that's really rare.
