a friend made like 55k per year working in natural gas with a high school diploma - not easy work, but apparently very low barrier to entry

legacy software is pretty easy once you're properly established but you need credentials to get in and luck to find openings

Not sure about the US, but in Canada it's HCA's.

It's a gross ass tough job, but I know 5 different girls that despite living a bar star lifestyle and struggling during the high school days are making 50-60 K+ a year. They're desperate for workers so they pay the big bucks and you don't need a uni education.

Hustling ass waiters (probably women, just being honest - because of tip potential) can make that at good venues.

Not the greatest job but once you get in the flow its very hard to compare to.

I've tried waitering and it was pretty much hustle hustle hustle. One moment you're taking drink/food orders, the other moment you're checking to see if the food is out from the cook line; all while you're smiling, getting napkins, and doing 100 things at once. And it's the worst feeling to have when you get stiffed by a table full of high schoolers. Great you're a dollar short? Here here, I'll cover you. Ugh.

I use to work for a trucking company. Lots of drivers says most of the time it's chill and drive. I guess this isn't for everyone.

IT isn't super hard to get into depending on what you get hired on to do.

Some jobs are pretty chil, while some are super hectic. Just get hired at a chill place that pays a lot.

My challenging job is finding ways to earn passive income outside my actual job. 60k just gives me a good enough foundation where I can meet all my food/shelter- pretty much all basic physiological needs and still have 30k left over for the year to invest.

Good point. Drunk people at night time, domestic abuse, prostitution, and the list goes on. I wouldn't be able to handle the confrontation. But then again...you could also get drunk, abuse your authority, get prostitutes, and pretty much go with the flow. Night shift seems like fun.

Edit: I'm watching White Lotus on HBO and I'm getting ideas haha.
