Nah, I absolutely think Erudition is S tier for farming Calyxes

I mean I have Himeko mostly built and I'm working on getting her up to speed to prep for Topaz. But I have Clara, Luka, Nat all built, PMC and Sushang if I am TRULY desperate, I'm good on Phys units unless they release a good Harmony one.

Erudition hasn't had the most amazing showing, but the leak kit for Argenti looks pretty sick, and I am a sucker for the idea of stacking Ult charges. We just need to get the numbers, it's all question marks for his kit's digits still.

Physical is also the unit you WANT for Erudition, having the best break effect by far.

Man, I have such wierd pieces prepped for Jingliu. I managed to get a full ice set where every piece has Crit Rate/Crit Damage, but the rolls keep going into Crit Rate!

I'm not going to complain about having 106% Crit Rate in her buffed state, but would have loved a few more roles into CD. At least every piece is still at 12 so there's still a chance.

........ to get to 114%.

Some notes

Seele rerun is in the second half. Both her and her LC banner are totally seperate, which I guess is a big deal to Genshin fans? They both share 4*s with Topaz though.

Numby's treasure hunting ability is a passive and doesn't cost skill points.

Guinaifen's Talent is called PatrAeon Benefits which is worth pulling on its own.

Topaz has hundred of pets on the personally owned starship she lives on and is gay as hell.

Oh, and version 1.4 is 5 weeks instead of 6 weeks....that's all we know about that for now!

Apparently weapon reruns in Genshin go on the same banner as the new one, and you pick which item you want to have a rate up on (not guarantee).

No it's even worse than that.

So in Star Rail it's a 75% to get the rate up and 25% to get a standard cone, right? In Genshin that 75% is split between two weapons, so it's a 37.5% to get the one you want. Now, if you get a standard weapon, you are guaranteed a limited one next 5*, but it can be either of the two.

Then there is a SEPARATE, banner-specific tracker (so it resets) where you pick the weapon you want at the start, and if you strike out twice it will give you that weapon as the third 5* roll.

It's a scam! Especially if they run a weapon you want with a really bad second weapon. Star Rail's is...well, it's still a scam but way less so.

Seems like the obvious answer, but I assume "Rerun" Character and LC Banners are considered their own tier of pity? So that's 5 seperate lines of pity now (2 Premium Character, 2 Premium LC, and Standard)?

No, if it's like Genshin then both banners of a type (well just character for Genshin) use the same pity.

Only character banners exist to me anyways. Pulling for LCs or weapons no thanks dont need them

Thinking of starting this again after not playing for several months. What relevant have I missed since the Silver Wolf patch? I know there's like more story and characters and stuff; I guess I mean just if there's new features or anything like that.

Am I still able to do the events and whatnot that happened in the meantime?

It looks like I didn't miss the Fu Xuan gacha praise the lord.

There are some minor events that have come and gone. The major events are permenant, though there are still some times factors to them.

Mostly new Simulated Universe things, a major boss, new Relics and Planars.

1.4 starts in just over a week with Jingliu, Topaz, and Guinaifen, and the launch of the PS5 version, also an enemy raising arena mode. 1.5 is the next major patch with a new area, equipment, enemies, all that jazz.

Oh and I'm sure you'll notice you have a ton of the new overflow Trailblaze power.

Well I managed to sign in 2 days in a row which I guess clears the threshold for posting in this topic again.

I appreciate that they have a somewhat generous "event" (just free stuff) specifically for returning players.

I didn't keep exact track but I managed to get Fu Xuan after spending only like 7,000 or so of the jade I had when I stopped playing before which isn't bad at all. Probably have enough to roll for either Jingliu or Topaz also now which is nice.

I remembered they were releasing Lynx at some point, but I didn't know she was an Abundance character, which is huge for me. I remember only having Natasha was making it really hard for me to do any of the content that forced you to make multiple teams. Also the fact that she's Quantum probably means she pairs well with Silver Wolf and Fu Xuan who are the only real 5-stars I have. (Himeko and Fire Trailblazer don't count)

Of course when I stopped I had just reached Trailblaze level 50 which means right now I absolutely do not have the materials to level either of these new characters. Oh well.
