I was thinking of getting YouTube TV for Red Zone but then Id be missing out on TNF and local games since I dont have cable. So is there another way?

TNF isnt on cable, its on Amazon Prime

You can probably get local games on YouTube TV, or if not just buy an antenna to get local channels

YouTube TV - Sports pkg that includes Redzone. This plus local games (whatever is on FOX, CBS, etc) is all I really need. I have Amazon Prime for TNF.

NFL Sunday Ticket is a total ripoff unless you can get some deal from Verizon or whatever. I dont plan on watching every single game. Im fine with watching highlights on YouTube.

I cancelled cable, which I've had for nearly 2 decades, last month and got an HD antenna. Planning to watch whatever Saints games I can get on local channels (which usually isn't many in WI). I think the only thing I lose out on that I had before is MNF on ESPN.

I kinda don't want to monopolize every Sunday afternoon anyway so I'm fine if I only get a couple games. Still interested to know the best options, though.

Looks like Sports package only gives you NFL Red Zone which I dont need. I just wanted the mainstay channels and ability to sift through every game.

So YouTube TV auto comes with Sunday Ticket plus all basic channels, correct?

Looks like I am wrong.

So the best way to watch NFL this season is to subscribe to YouTube TV ($65/month for first three, then its $72) which enables local games, and then also purchase Sunday Ticket ($299) to gain access to all games on Sundays. And then you have the option to buy Red Zone for another $50, if you want.

If you don't mind watching on a tablet, or if you're cool with watching red zone on a laptop linked to a TV (or just a laptop), you could consider NFL+ Premium. I started doing that instead of Sunday Ticket bc I wanted access to the All-22.

I believe you get:
  • Live Local games
  • Red Zone
  • Replays (including condensed replays) of every game all season available all season
The hassle with the TV comes bc afaik there is still some rights deal holding up access via TV. So you have to access NFL+ Premium through another device. Could be worth looking into, though!

I just watch them online on free websites. The quality has gotten pretty good in recent years.

^ this. Or services like uzzu.tv, which offer you every NFL game (and every NBA and MLB game) for $10 a month.

I have hulu live still. It might be too expensive but it very rarely has any issues.

The real answer is

Illegally.

I get HD quality and access to every game and all I have to do is close a pop up or two

Sports bars dont let you switch between every game.

Rotate in your seat 15 degrees.

If you're going to a sports bar that doesn't have every game up at once, then you're not at a sports bar.
