Change all your passwords.

Change to 2 factor authentication on everything possible.

Keep monitoring your bank accounts and credit cards

Change your last name. Grow a beard then shave it off. Buy and live in a remote cabin in the woods.

Does it matter that other than my email, I had nothing linked to it? And my passwords are all original for each site I use, do I still need to change them?

Access to your email address can be the doorway to your other stuff.

Ever seen a 'forgot your password?' prompt? You know, where they email you a link to do just that.

They'd need to get my email password too though, right?

So, do I have to change all my passwords? I mean, it seems pointless if they'll just be able to change those passwords too.

I mean, it's up to you.

If it was me, I wouldn't bother to change my password to gamefaqs, but I would (for example) change it on my Amazon account. And make sure I used 2FA if I wasn't already.

I changed my password on my Nintendo account that was linked and set up 2FA.

How much of a risk is it to leave them? All my passwords are unique and I don't reuse them, and there was no financial info on it.

I don't know the risk, and that's the point.

You decide what level of risk you want between complete paranoia and gives no fucks.

Personally, I would change anything that involved access to money/significant personal information, plus my email. I would not bother with messageboards, or other site logins.

I'm not sure what sort of data was involved in this breech, but one thing you can consider doing is freezing your credit history. You only really need that un-frozen if you are applying for a credit card or a loan.

They claim no passwords were taken.

"including their email and IP addresses, as well as identifiers for Google, Apple, Roblox, and other online services."
