HHH_is_the_game 09/16/23 12:17:56 PM #1:	It seems like tensions are higher than ever in my life (30 years). I was reading about traffic accidents being up since the pandemic and some people blame people being frustrated, social tensions, unhappiness everywhere, people stressed and impatient. Is it true that society in general is filled with more tension, more impatience, more unhappiness? I wouldn't doubt it. It feels like the war between the right and left is worse than ever. Both sides are responsible for this in my opinion. Yes, the right is awful, but the left does not help heal the tensions either, hating the other side just as much as the right hates them. Im sure there are peaceful people in the middle, maybe the internet just amplifies the loudest voices (Maybe that's actually part of the problem) but it doesn't seem like the loud voices on the left are interested in healing and in bringing the sides together. But what CAN be done to heal things, to bring the sides together, to lessen tensions and not make everybody feel on edge like they're in a civil war? Who is needed to actually calm the country? --- Shelton undoubtedly wants Cena's championship belt. Even though I don't like the far left or the far right, I think the right is more harmful in their policies and would always vote left. I think the left means well even if I don't like the way they handle social issues (even if I agree with the issues) But in terms of healing the country I don't know if it matters. Obviously there is tensions on both sides, not just the left side, and I think that whether or not its realistic the right feels slighted or attacked as well , or else I don't know how else to justify the frustrations. And I imagine the social discourse is part of that. You might think the left has more of a right to feel slighted than the right does, and you might even be right. But it doesn't change the fact that IMO the current social climate is unsustainable and both sides are contributing to tensions in how they treat each other.
