The actual melody is basically nothing though, while Ground Man's melody is fabulous. Air Man remix is fine. I used the playlist, and unlike the previous two songs I didn't even notice its existence. Metal Man, however, made me start whistling the instant it began. What a fantastic tune. This version is pretty kick ass and the guitars are straight and on point. Beautiful! Ground Man... hmm, I mean it's good, but I don't think I like it as much as the 16-bit originals. Nothing that really calls my attention. But it's still a good melody so points for that. Maybe I'll like it more if it passes this round. Air Man's remix caught my attention very rapidly when playing Smash 4. Very humble energy to it, plenty of variety on the instruments and I also really enjoy the occasional solos! Hard to dislike really, it's just very solid and well made. On the other hand, Metal Man is a very iconic song and always solid. Not much to say, I won't mind if it ends winning it all. rwlh posted... I wish Falling Down was the original (that's a 9.5) but I don't dislike the arrangement. This is some intense ass shit, that's for sure. When the main melody changes and kind of "screams" for attention, I really dig it. I love the wailing intro at the beginning of this. Like a hero gearing up before one final fight. It's just a small part of the song, but it really highlights the experience for me despite being such a small portion of the track. This Air Man remix has a strong start before the familiar melody kicks. I like the non guitar portions better than the guitar, personally. The crazy keyboard(?) solo fucking rips, man. Metal Man is another classic. It manages the feat of feeling longer than it actually is. But not in a way that drags on!
