I got reported from one of our new entry level staff accountants for "sexual harassment". So what exactly was the sexual harassment? For having the song "Foreplay/Long Time" by the band Boston in my playlist in my office as background music:

I was so confused until our HR Manager showed me a screenshot of the speaker showing "Foreplay/Long" (because it has limited space so it couldn't show the full title) and the only thing I could do was burst out laughing. I never really thought the title could be interpreted as sexual until today, it just never occurred to me. We got it squared away with the staff accountant, but my HR Manager is asking for me to scrap any songs in my playlist that either lyrically can be seen as inappropriate (which I already did a long time ago) or title that can be deemed inappropriate and she will have to screen it herself before I can play background music in my office again. It's annoying, but you got to do what you got to do. It's fucked up she tried to accuse me of sexual assault over something stupid like this, but I did get a big laugh out of it at least. Nothing like this happened to me in my 8 years of being a Senior Manager.

Eh, Foreplay isn't really good tbh. Just find a Long Time version without Foreplay, problem solved. Also, whoever reported you deserves to be ridiculed for their pathetic behaviour.

I didn't know it was two separate songs until I had to scrub though my entire playlist. Yeah Long Time is the better part, but I do enjoy Foreplay being the intro because it gives it that "concert" feel.

And yeah for context, the employee only reported it she didn't classify it as sexual assault, it was my HR Manager because, if true, it technically would be if I did play inappropriate music. It's still a bit of a messed up thing for her to do behind my back, but I understand why she did it and I don't hold any ill will towards her or the HR Manager (she's just doing her job). I'm just glad it didn't turn into some kind of PR nightmare lol.
