Even if you hate eating, depending on other factors you will still get fat. A lack of exercise for example. Also some people look skinny but they are still unhealthy because of the food they eat.

I was at most 145 lbs before hitting 30, mostly because I walked everywhere I needed to be, but ever since I got a job that required a car, my weight has steadily gone up over the years, and although I haven't weighed myself recently, I'm probably 220. Depression is also a factor.

once you become a fat kid, its very easy to become a fat adult

Eating too much is my guess and not knowing when to stop while also not exercising.

I sometimes get off track and gain 10lbs mainly because Ill get off work and hunger will usually hit late at night or I cant sleep and think a small meal will help.

On top of all the issues already mentioned, like awful standard of food these days and sedetary lifestyle, I'd say that the biggest issue is believe it or not - boredom.

When I'm fully immersed in my work projects or gaming, I literally forget to eat until I start feeling like I'm starving. Not to mention if I'm outside all day.

But whenever I'm sitting at home with nothing to do other than browse around or watch TV, I get the urge to eat something. Even if I just ate like an hour ago. It's just boredom.

The fattest Ive ever been was 276. I was super depressed, stressed and overall just physically/mentally washed. I drank way more, would get absolutely smashed every weekend for the better part of 5-6 years, in addition to periodically drinking on weekdays. I barely slept, would sleep from 4 am to 8 and then take a nap later on in the day. Mix all of that together and you will see drastic changes in weight, either overweight or underweight. I was usually hovering around 230-250 otherwise.

now Im 215 but my actual body fat number is way lower. I probably lost 70 pounds of just pure fat. To lose the weight I just did the inverse lol. Slept better, ate healthier, drank way less etc. it takes years but its doable.
