v_charon 09/21/23 9:28:39 PM #13:	I don't think I've ever gotten a flu shot. I may later in life, not sure. My mom always gets one and almost without fail it gives her a decent case of the flu. I'm not really sure if that's genetic and I don't want to test it necessarily. I haven't received a COVID vaccine since the first ones came out. No negative side effects, so maybe. I've been thinking about getting the Novavax vaccine this time which is a protein based one instead of mRNA. I've seen many claims that it could provide superior protection, but I haven't looked at the data myself.
