Imagine youre playing a game similar to DnD. Your character has the immortal trait, which makes them extremely hard to kill, but not literally immortal, which is obviously very helpful for your party.

You have an event where you roll a d10. 2-9 will let you roll again or just stop. 1 means you die instantly, and 10 gives your character +1 luck permanently.

What would you do? Because sadly the immortal Huntress Biden III died :<

I dont think my friends will let me live that down lol.

In my defense, luck is a great stat and extremely hard to get. For every point of luck you have, you need one less point on a roll to get a crit. So normally you need a 10 to land a critical hit, but with 1 luck, a 9 or 10 would crit. If you had 2 luck, then 8, 9, or 10 would crit.

Why would I, an unlucky person roll a dice for MORE luck?

No.
Only +1 luck vs instant death is a bad deal and the 2-9 doesn't matter.

And also the chance to die is from 1-9 and 10 is "nothing happens"

It is Kingdom Death Monster lol. Immortality is a disorder. Im proud of how I got it. An event happened where the most insane person murdered someone then rolled the die. I got a 10 which meant I left the village but came back later with an item and a random disorder lol

I knew it. How far did you get? The boss after the butcher fucking always destroyed us. We never made it to the watcher.

We never made it to the Watcher either. Were on year 6 or 7 or so? I think we went from the Butcher to the Kingsman, but then my friend whos the DM said next would be the Phoenix which would probably be the death of our village lol.

Were learning from the mistakes of the previous village, or more accurately, a single friend who chose to resist the Kingsmans order to sacrifice the most courageous person in the group. As he said, and I quote, Mama didnt raise no bitch, before he led a group of 5 of our best warriors to their doom lol

So while we both made incredibly stupid decisions, at least mine didnt lead to the entire village dying :D

Sounds like a bad deal since dying and getting the bonus have the same probability but no idea how hard the upcoming encounters would be (that is, if youre likely to die due to being underpowered then rolling for the bonus makes more sense)

I mean it honestly was stupid since we were on the way to a boss fight so my friends had to fight with a party of 3 instead of 4 lol

Oh right uh Huntress Biden III also had the Ambidextrous fighting style, so she was using two bone blades until one broke against the Butcher. Then the immortal Kirito took up the Butcher Cleaver but died before she could use it which kinda sucked since it was cursed and so the weapon was lost forever when she died lol

Oh BTW I'm looking for suggestions for names for the survivors. Our village is named China lol. We started out with Huntress Biden III, our village leader Xi Jinping (who Huntress Biden murdered), John Cena (got blinded by the Bone Witch, so he was benched), and some chick named after someone from Dynasty Warriors. Mao Zedong is the new village leader and Chun-Li took John Cena's place lol. I'm gonna name my new character Awkwafina because we need females and I can't really think of anyone else, plus my friend already called Jackie Chan for his next character if Chun-Li dies.
