Yeah, it is sad, but man he had a great run. It's been 56 years! And Killers of the Flower Moon is gonna be fantastic (according to Cannes)

also he revealed he's working on a documentary about michael powell and emeric pressburger. pretty exciting. they made some good movies. also his editor, thelma schoonmaker, was married to powell for awhile after being introduced to him by scorsese.

this topic will probably get more posts if i put the rage bait from the piece in the topic i guess. reporter couldnt help but bring it up since you gotta get clicks. but also you guys should read the whole thing. its very sad but in an inspiring in a way.
