This shit is ridiculous. Im literally just trying to find out why my next payment says its due in June 2026 and how thatll affect my interest getting waived this month under the SAVE plan. I sent them an email 2 weeks ago and heard nothing. I have responsibilities I cant sit on the phone all day. It should be criminal to charge interest right now when borrowers cant even get basic info.

If its any help, I was calling about the exact same thing and the representative told me that if you applied for the SAVE plan then you do not have to worry about that bill that you see that you need to pay back on 10/6. Nelnet will recognize that you're in the SAVE plan and extend the date until your plan comes through.

do you mean theyll send a statement on 10/6 for Octobers payment? I havent gotten any billing statements yet for either this month or next

I'm Nelnet as well and this servicer sucks ass. I submitted my save plan the day it was released and I've gotten no bill or anything. I'm sitting on around a grand in student loan assistance from work that I can't pay because it keeps bouncing back payments for 4 months now.

Tbh me being in London, I tried to contact my university regarding transcripts being sent to my new employer in Japan.

Their communication and systems are absolutely abhorrent. I asked them 2 weeks in advance to make sure its sealed and signed. Then I get a notification a day earlier that it was sent off. Then the next day they said they couldn't sign it since it was already sent off.

Like bitch, you had 2 weeks to do it? What the hell were you all doing in that time??

I called mine because I got a notification that "the bank rejected my payment." So I went to the bank and they said no payment ever came in. So I called the servicer, I was told to wait about 4 hours. It ended up being even longer than they said...and they weren't able to help me anyway. Told me to call the bank, even though I already went there. So I couldn't even do anything.

I tried paying a few days later and it worked the second time.

Yep. What's worse is that I'm having to earmarked over a thousand dollars because my employer agreed to provide me a monthly stipend for my loan payments provided i give them receipts, which I can't due to Nelnet.
