Also technically Smgon tier lists are mostly based off usage, though of course OU Pokes tend to be considered the strongest. There can totally be a Pokemon that works well in the OU meta but just doesn't get used often enough to actually be placed there.

Ubers are considered the broken mons though.

Following up from my first post, to actually answer the question:

Honchkrow/Murkrow, Staraptor, Decidueye, Sneasel/Weavile, Buizel/Floatzel, Archen/Archeops, Goodra, Inteleon, Zangoose, Chatot, Galarian Zapdos, Jolteon/Vaporeon are all top 20 contenders for me and none of them are even UU, let alone OU or Uber (except G-Zapdos, which is UU). Murkrow has a gimmicky niche in VGC and that's about it.

Garchomp, Dragapult and Lugia are basically the only top 20 contenders for me that aren't "bad".

Dunsparce. Or, as I like to say, DOOMSPARCE!

I don't think Darmanitan (regular) is that good competitively, but it does have a high attack stat and is monstrous in-game during BW. Because of that I don't think he's really in keeping with the topic

PRO is a pokemon MMO very much is the style of the original games and encompasses all or most of the regions that have been released in the official games.

Most of the Pokemon plushies I've bought are for Pokemon I love that are not particularly good in battle. Spinarak, Venomoth, Wailord, Glalie, Sigilyph, Dunsparce, Abomasnow, Regigigas... just to name a few. I actually love Luvdisc because it's such a gloriously useless little troll, too. The new mons I used in Scarlet were picked entirely because their designs appealed to me; I had no idea how viable they'd be going in.

As someone else already mentioned, Pokemon games are easy enough that you can beat the game without a problem with any Pokemon. There's really no reason to only use strong Pokemon.
