I dont know. $10 million, I want to say probably not. Id get my parents house fixed up, get their deck rebuilt, buy a house and furnish it, get both houses wired for Ethernet, get new NASes, buy my dream smokers / grills, buy new vehicles for my parents, myself, and my best friend, max out my 401K and Roth IRA contributions for the year, and invest the rest. That would take a good chunk of it, along with the taxes Id owe on it. I could still retire comfortably, but I like what I do well enough Id probably continue doing it for a while. I would however definitely give my company the ultimatum that if they tried to make me go back to the office any time besides rare occasions when a Senator is there or something and they want the building to look full, that I would be gone.
If I won $100 million, yeah Id probably retire early. --- Console war in a nutshell: http://imgur.com/xA6GJZ9.png ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wouldn't before in the more distant past as I'd like to "pretend" still to contribute something to society, but now freaking forget everything. Just pay the monthly bills and live like a hermit mostly. No need to live way above means or buy expensive stuff a person doesn't need.Tell most people to go away if they came begging for money (found out I won) or at least it'll be a sort of, Akiyama (Yakuza 4/5) system where I'd lend you the money on no interest if you can pass my test.
