Ehhh, not the first time they've done this. I've seen crystal figurines of Disney & Star Wars characters.

Weird choice of characters, tbh. Iron Man looks great, and the angular "cut gem" style makes sense for a suit of armor. Black Panther isn't bad either. But Spiderman is way too wiry and Hulk is way too bulky for the style to look good at all.

Captain America would have looked awesome with a badass crystal shield, and seems like a weird one to omit.

The kind of person who believes that crystals give off healing energy would probably be open to superpowers caused by gamma radiation.

Well the ones shown above are anywhere from $550-$750, but yeah still quite a pricey nicknack. They're for suckers and rich people with nothing better to do with their money.

and we have tons of people complaining about robosen's transformer being expensive when Masterpiece and any decent third party transformer are already in couple hundreds. Though I still blame robosen market department for STILL using TOY in their social media ads. NOT A TOY, a figure, collectible, or programable robot. Got to love to see all the boomers expecting to pay less than hundred for it.

Swarovski stuff tends to increase in value a lot once they stop making them. A lot of people collect Swarovski, and a lot of people collect superhero stuff. They're hitting two markets.

I wouldn't want them, but people buying the ~$500 figures at retail are going to make money.

In case of Swarovski, more or less nothing.

But they are the leading glass cutter in the whole world, and they use this fame to put it on the price tag.

Their business model is making glass look like gems for not even 1/10 the costs, but asking 1/2 of the price.

They are also pretty good with optics.

Their quality is real for sure, it's just the price that's pretty extreme.
