Did you ever have a boss that you thought was nice but ended up being a total psychopath when his facade slipped away during a drunken office night party?

Or maybe the therapist that was supposed to help you was actually making fun of you behind your back and their whole agenda was to play around with you like a marionette doll?

Yeah, I don't trust OVERLY nice people anymore unless they're living in extreme poverty and seem like they've achieved some sort of self-actualization. Otherwise I just presume everybody is nice out of self-preservation. This is your chance to gripe about that time you were screwed over by someone you trusted. Let it all out guys.

I AM that person. Tbf I never betrayed anyone, it's just that people keep calling me nice when I know they're fucking WRONG. It's like if a wolf just walks into a group of sheep and the sheep say "it's cool guys, the wolf is vegan" and I'm just like

I can sort of relate with that in the sense that people assume I'm smart because I wear glasses. NO I wear glasses because I screwed up my vision watching Jerry Springer and playing video games as a kid.

Not really like that. But i have had this happen. Like you tell someone like some private info about yourself and then they turn around and use that info against you. Just as infuriating. Makes people not want to tell people anything.
