The global poor were raised up largely due to heavily government subsidized forms of capitalism, not free market neoliberalism that's sold to developing countries now. Rich people in current and former colonial extracting parts of the world saw of that most benefit for about 100 years and the poor were raised to just above total destitution and starvation, and in exchange, we get a wrecked planet. Not true at all. A hybrid is what's necessary. You need a strong social safety net as well as a well regulated capitalism structure. That's how many European countries are able to give their employees a better life than Americans could ever dream of. From healthcare to work leave, Europe has shown they can do it and that it works, and the US as a whole is an entirely richer country than any of them, yet we treat our citizens like dog shit, force them to work until the day they die, never take a vacation, encourage them to work days after having traumatic surgery, live paycheck to paycheck, have no adequate Healthcare, and people like you think 'can't do better than this' despite the fact that countries across the globe are doing this substantially better than we are.

Political approval ratings of establishment politicians are at an all-time low across the board and have been for over a decade. You can definitely say voters prefer Biden to Trump, but he isn't popular, and the current "establishment" is increasingly degrading as years pass by and nothing serious is done about a lot of structural issues with the country.

He just completely ignored the personal tax rates in those countries of course.

You said they are Nordic model politicians, they're absolutely not. They're neoliberals. Neoliberalism and Scandinavian socialist/Nordic model capitalism are two different things.

None of those politicians support a wealth tax, the world's highest rates of unionization, publicly provided healthcare with a highly marginalized private sector, far higher real minimum wages, high taxes, public pensions, far higher rates of public ownership of assets, etc etc etc. Neoliberalism is not what made these countries rich, it's a later development that sought to manage wealth that already existed.
