It takes some people months, close to a year to eradicate these things from a single home. They are spread everywhere, hopping on people constantly, I can't imagine the hotels right now.

A couple of my close friends had a really bad bedbug infestation a few years back and it was a nightmare for them.

They had to send their kids away to stay with relatives for a few months while they tried to deal with it.

I dread the thought of ever having to go through that myself.

It seems like this is a tradition with the Olympics, where we get to hear about all the horrible things that city has going on right now in the lead up to the games. The news loves to do this for some reason.

For the 2026 Olympics in Milan, they'll be articles saying Italy has an unprecedented shortage of toilet paper and everyone is being forced to wipe their butts with torn out book pages
