Thought I heard a knock on my door. Call out to see if it's anyone. No one answers. As I open my door, I can feel the heaviness on it as I try to pull it open making me believe someone is holding the doorknob on the other side. I think it's my sister trying to be funny (even though she would never stay up this late), so I quickly close and lock the door (it was only open to a crack). When I reopen, no one is there, so I nervously walk out thinking my sister is trying to jumpscare me, but no, she's in her room sleeping as it's 2:30 am. I look around, and there's no way it was family pranking me. I'm the only degen that would be up this late.

What the hell was that then. I know what I was feeling. The door wasn't stuck...

Probably zombies.

My door is always locked to my room. Made sure everything was locked too, and I checked everywhere.

I don't know what the hell that was. The knocking sound, that could have been in my head as that happens way too often to me where I think I'm hearing things because people knock on my door and call my name so god damn much. The door, though, I don't know why it felt like that. A door being stuck feels like the door is fighting me, but the way this felt, felt like all the times someone is holding my doorknob feels like.

We have a dog, though, so obviously if there was a stranger, this dog would have alarmed us, but nope, he's peacefully sleeping. It's driving me insane, though. Wtf was that?

I just assumed this was the door to outside your house. If it was, yeah your dog probably would've barked, but all dogs are different? Maybe get a camera if it really freaked you out.

If it was the door to your room, your dog definitely would've barked. Maybe it just got stuck.

Nah, this is prime time for me, I'm as awake as I'll be at this time of the night. I was just listening to some SM64 speedrunning, when I think I hear a tiny knock.

I call out "Did someone knock? I'm not gonna answer unless someone says they knock" but then I get up to open the door anyways. I start opening the door, but as I pull, it feels heavy, like someone is pulling on the other side of it. My first thought was that my sister was on the other side holding the doorknob, probably just thinking she is being funny, but she's not up at this time. It didn't feel like a sudden stop where the door was stuck, it felt like it was heavier.

I tried opening my door a few more times to see if the door felt odd, but no, it feels normal now. Don't know why it felt that way.

Could have been a slight jam in the hinge, something on the floor snagging it, etc.

Don't freak out over it, it's definitely nothing.

Could even have been a pressure thing that slowly built up due to temperature changes and you released the built up pressure after opening the door once
