I was wondering why they hadn't opened a dispensary, since due to the recently passed marijuana legalization law in Minnesota, tribes will exclusively be able to sell weed until 2025, and they would make so much money being able to supply a major metropolitan area with no competition, but maybe they feel they don't need the money. Got all that casino income coming in.

I think it's great that they are so successful, but it's depressing that the difference between a tribe of millionaires and a tribe living in extreme poverty is largely geographical location.

Being warned seemed a little harsh imo, but I did realize shortly afterwards that the topic was a very unwise decision.

For anyone who wants to know what happened:

I read a story on Wired about AI-generated CP and if it should be legalized for use in therapy as a possible way to prevent pedos from looking at CP involving actual children. I posted it with a poll asking if it should be legal. I included a poll for the same reason I ever make a poll - I was curious how people would vote.

But by creating a poll (and based on how people were voting), the topic would have been an absolute trainwreck and was a very bad idea on my part. The topic was initially locked (but not deleted) and then later deleted after I made a topic asking why it was locked.

You should know that people have spread lies about you for that topic. I tried to set the record straight, but you know how it is on these boards. People literally ignored me and kept pushing the lie that you were doubling down on being pro CP. Literally the exact opposite of what you said. They even ignored the part where the topic title was the title of the Wired article, was in quotation marks, you mentioned that it was the article title in the opening post, not your personal views, and that you were 1,000% against it.

But people ignored the facts and kept pushing their lies. Eventually they will being saying this as if it is a fact. I don't know what to do about people here some times.

Appreciate it. Going forward I'll answer questions about what happened, but anyone who calls me a pedo will be permablocked, since that's about the worst thing you could ever accuse someone of being.
