As happy as I was to see them make it, the Marlins really didn't belong in the playoffs. Then again, if they also weren't so ravaged by injuries later in the season (especially the biggest one of losing Sandy Alcantara) then maybe things might have been different. Carroll is a stud, Christian Walker is one of the most underrated players in the sport tbh, ketel marte is still good. with gallen they're a very top-heavy team but they at least have those guys where theoretically in the postseason depth matters less the marlins didn't have any player break the 4 fWAR barrier. their 2nd most valuable position player was Jon fucking Berti LMAO.
