Why not just universal mail-in voting? A few states already do this without issue. You automatically get a ballot in the mail, you fill it out, and send it back in. You don't have to wait in line. You don't even have to leave your home except to walk to your mailbox.

That's a fallacy and you know it. Voting for people to run the government and banking are not the same thing. And while I don't advocate against online banking, there is personal risk doing it. More than enough risk to warrant it's not safe enough to hold national elections over.
