I can't comment on that one that came out like last year. The multiplayer one but if you are talking about the remaster of the game that was on PS3 I actually thought that game was damn good. It definitely had a number of nods to the movie and was overall a blast.
It is also one of the few games I played the multiplayer portion online and had a blast. Everyone was pretty much a movie fan and was there to have fun, work together, and just generally chill and have a good time. Yes, it's the closest thing to an actual 'Ghostbusters 3' that we'll ever actually get. It stars the voices of all the original cast members (sans Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis, whose characters aren't in it anyway), and the story was written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, based on abandoned concepts from the movies.
