The closest isn't a horror game, but it's definitely Halloween themed.
TF2's yearly Scream Fortress update is supposed to be here. It's released later in the past but in the past few years it came out on Oct 5th. I've been keeping watch for a few days. I started and completed RE7 for the first time last week. I watched a playthrough when it first came out but I forgot most of it. Now I'm doing the DLC. Ethan Must Die is rough. I've only reached Marguerite once but I wasn't well-enough equipped. I have RE Village to play later in the month, too.
