If absolutely forced to choose between classic or modern films, I would have to go with movies made after I was born because those movies are continuing to be made. It's the same problem that comes up when forcing people to choose between retro gaming and modern gaming. Many of the classics will appear on modern compilations whereas nobody today is making 16-bit epics that are meant to sell a million or more copies. It's not like I'm going to get a brand new Citizen Kane or Enter the Dragon if I choose movies made before I was born. <cite>FortuneCookie posted [p:976538749] in which movi... Im especially fond of Westerns and there are so many good ones from the 60s. But by that same token I love a lot of classic movies from the 80s when I was a kid and even through the 90s.
