This should be enough to stop a character from being a waifu or whatever. It doesn't matter if, "Oh they're actually 1000 years old!" If they LOOK like a child... Hit the brakes. Don't even try to go further.

I've seen this with Fire Emblem. Certain people like to go "Well ackshually this character is 10,000 years old, even if they look like they're barely 8." No. Just... No.

Sandrone, Columbina, Yun Jin, Xinyan, Barbara, Faruzan, Dori, Lynette, and Noelle arent children.

Hell, Doris the short one there but shes an adult thats basically Jeff Bezos in Sumeru.

No, you clearly don't understand the appeal of her hairdo.

Just a word of note: If they don't look like an obvious an adult then they are very likely a minor, even if canon says otherwise. The internet made "Minor coding" for a reason even if I disagree with it on real people.

All that matters is Ayaka is #1 and Kokomi is #2

I said literally nothing about anything TC said with their ranking. All I said was that the character in question, Noelle, appears very blatantly underage, since the subject came up.

There are women who have dwarfism or other genetic conditions that stunt their growth. Or hell, even women without any conditions at all. I actually grew up with a girl who seemed to basically stop growing in our teens and even approaching 30, she's like 5'1 and people mistake her for (at best) a high-schooler all the time.

So would do you propose she and other women like her do? Never date at all?

"Blatantly underage" by what metric? You wouldn't have even known about the drinking age thing if I didn't say it, and it's already a meaningless metric in a world where half of the characters are gods or some fantasy race, including the player character.

There is a pretty obvious difference, but I feel like you're being contrarian for the sake of being contrarian. Even in your example, looking like a "high-schooler" is different than the video game tactic of taking a character that looks 8 years old and saying "Actually they're 100,000."

And no, there's no other reasoning for it. No dwarfism, nothing else. Just "They're 100,000, trust us."
