A Saw-like franchise with a resurrected Jesus Christ as the villain sounds incredible. Torture traps where sinners need to atone. Plot twists where Jesus wakes up from the dead after three days. Perfect!

Even the die-hard followers would fit that more than it does in Saw.

I think it says more about the people that let celebs opinions influence them.

The only people that have ever had a influence on my political views is my family and the older I get the less so that's true

It truly doesn't work on me.

The closest it ever came is I paid more attention to a commercial for a video game cause they used a marilyn manson song. But still to this day I never played that game.

Game looked Allright but nothing about it screamed must play.

I don't keep up with celebs. I can't even name half of them.

Selling products is one thing though. But only a fucking idiot let's someone tell them how to think just cause they are famous.

Does someone have a mental breakdown if they like two Celebs but both spout opposite views? No. People just regurgitate things celebs say that already align with their views. Or rather what I see is people pick a side left or right and will agree with anything that side says. Another form of stupidity.

The people I like aren't really celebrities or sports people. But maybe I would pay attention more if they used more nerdy types?

Nah.

Nerdy type celebs I know are used in esports ads all the time, and I don't give a fuck what their sponsors have them hawking.
