I thought it'd be meh at best, but it was actually a really good time. I thought it got the tone down perfectly and knew exactly what type of movie it was. Very rare a movie does that without leaning too far into it with tongue in cheek, wink at the camera stuff that takes away any real bite.

I enjoyed it, and I'm not really a horror fan.

Same. Ironically was actually pretty enjoyable. Doesn't need a sequel imo, but you know how that goes.

Agreed. I thought it was just going to be Child's Play 2017 but with a fresh coat of paint but it was a genuinely fun film. Delightfully cheesy.
