I actually have a general fondness of most movies associated with filmbro #1, but I dont consider those movies significantly more worthy of respect than numerous other films in general. I was into watching foreign films when I was younger because I thought it was what was hip. Ill still watch a foreign film if it interests me, but Im not actively seeking them out anymore. A lot of critics basically promote films generally liked by filmbro #1. While anti-film bros exist and draw on criticism of tropes and points of view against films popular with filmbro #1, anti-film bros are a smaller group with their own canon of films and filmmakers.
