Im no expert but wouldnt overturning voting rights mean the states control their own elections? Ergo, you thought red states were gerrymandered already

I thought that already happened when they struck down the "these states need to be reviewed for racist bullshit during elections" clause of the VRA?

And that's how we have ended up with so many map challenges from the south, because there was no committee anymore to say, "Fix this," instead of needing it to be challenged in court.

Im inclined to go with this, as I said Im no expert on this topic.

Unless we just simplify things down to voting rights act repealed = Republican cheating gets 1000x worse and mostly legal.
