Comes out at 9 PM EST.

First episode was a bit messy, but Ke Huy Quan was great.

Nah, the first episode was spectacular. I'm just waiting for it to inevitably go downhill from here, hopefully this show might be the first MCU show to prove me wrong.

I thought the first was a ton of fun, albeit not super concerned with logic.

My cat and I are waiting. About 25 minutes to go.

I really enjoyed it. High spots for me were the chase sequence with Loki using his powers, the interrogation scenes and the key lime pie talk.

Also, I really wanna see a trailer for Zaniac

Key Lime pies are supposed to be yellow, not green.

It is just going too far. I can't enjoy it because my brain is trying to process the information overload shouted at you from various characters in the middle of an action sequence. I am not sure if they need to dumb it down or make it smarter. Hard to tell if it doesn't make sense due to execution or concept.

It was an enjoyable episode. First was fun, this one was more serious in tone. Brad was the highlight this time I think. Though, I think seeing a bit more of Sylvie's life would've gone a long way. Seeing her actually have friends and get to enjoy life.

Also, I really hope they don't try to swerve Ouroboros into a surprise villain. He's such a wholesome, cheerful, and enjoyable character. Though, it could work considering how he seemingly built all the TVA tech himself, then was just forgotten about and never even gets visitors. No one even reads his manual, and Casey didn't even know who he was despite having a picture of him. If he felt resentful and wanted control of the TVA he could claim it now that Kang's influence is currently absent.

I don't want him to be a villain either but he knows pretty much everything about the TVA, even wrote the manual, so there's definitely something up with him. His name is also the snake eating itself too

I don't think OB is a villain.

But he definitely didn't have his mind wiped and probably remembers the Kang TVA. He hadn't met anyone in 400 years.

When Loki visits OB in the past, OB remembers stuff in the present.

Nobody else does. Mobius encounters Loki in the past, but does not remember that.

Presumably, Loki's past stuff, his interactions with the staff and the entire TVA being under Kang's control was wiped from everybody.

Except OB.

This episode was weird to me. It just didn't feel...genuine? If that's the right word.

I think the biggest issue is that X-5 just isn't a character. I had to look him up to see who they were talking about. He was introduced the tiniest bit one episode ago as a hardline TVA loyalist and now he's just a completely different person. So when Mobius is talking about how he'll be so tough to crack and he goes for these deep cut rants to fuck with everyone's heads, it just felt performative to me. I very much felt like these were actors reading off a script.

I also didn't buy the whole thing with the torture machine. Brad obviously knew the TVA had it, he knew how it worked. He was supremely unconcerned the entire time, even when they were wheeling it in, so I don't know why he was freaking out so badly when Loki started "misusing" it.

I don't know why he was still bothering to keep Dox's plan a secret. He could have saved himself a whole lot of trouble by just immediately making a deal with them, telling them what Dox was doing, and showing them where Sylvie was. He could have just done that immediately instead of running off which uh...also didn't make sense now that I think about it. He liked his movie star life and Loki and Mobius can time travel. Where was he going to go?

And maybe it's sacrilegious to say it, but Owen Wilson kinda felt phoned in to me this episode. When he punched Brad, it didn't really come across as him losing his temper to me. And maybe it's intentional because he was faking it, but it didn't feel like he was trying when he was locked out of the prison cell.

That said, while we're on the subject of OB, wild idea: he's a Kang variant.
