Cheese Cake Factory

There's a Cheese Cake Factory in my town but I've never been there but friends tell me its nice and the food is good but they are quite expensive. But here's what Google had to say.

I actually had the opposite reaction from a girl years ago. Though she was from a more rural area and it was her first time going to CCF. Even had me take pics of her in front of the place...

It sounds like a first date, and how much "romance" does someone really deserve on a first date? Obviously don't take her to McDonald's or fast food, however I'd expect romance for anniversaries or at least committed relationships.

"Hey, we matched on Tinder and I'd like to get to know you better" doesn't scream "romantic" to me.

Though I do think a quiet environment where you can focus on learning about each other to see if there's any actual chemistry is ideal, I don't think it needs to be romantic for that.

From what I hear the food is rather expensive and the more expensive food is the less "family friendly" it gets.

It seems prudent to be more clever in the restaurant selection for a first date over romantic. For example, if you know what pho is and the other person doesn't, then you have the opportunity to not only introduce them to some great food, but show that you know about things they don't and entice them to see what else you know about that they may enjoy.
