MSNBC has quietly taken three of its Muslim broadcasters out of the anchors chair since Hamass attack on Israel last Saturday amid Americas wave of sympathy for Israeli terror victims.

The network did not air a scheduled Thursday night episode of The Mehdi Hasan Show on the streaming platform Peacock. MSNBC also reversed a plan for Ayman Mohyeldin to fill in this week on the network for host Joy Reids 7 p.m. show on Thursday and Friday. Mohyeldin, an Egyptian-American journalist and veteran NBC News correspondent covered the conflict from Gaza for two years. In 2021, he aggressively questioned Israeli leaders on strikes on the territory. Two network sources with knowledge of the plans told Semafor that the network also plans to have Alicia Menendez fill in this upcoming weekend for Ali Velshi, a third Muslim-American host who on Sunday interviewed a spokesman for the Palestinian Authority.

I mean the first two paragraphs are literally that. Unsure what you're confused about here. 3 Muslim anchors are not anchoring their programs. One is a guest, who they opted not to allow to anchor for Joy Reid, another is allegedly on a taped delay, so they wanted more current news, and the other is overseas corresponding, not hosting.

That's 3 hosts that aren't hosting out of 3 hosts who were hosting a week ago.

Medhi Hasans program is on during the weekends. Maybe double check your work.

And your claim wasnt that they werent on their programs it was that msNBC pulled Muslkm anchors which is a very different statement.

Ali Velshi is on assignment, so he literally can't host his show, and he typically goes on assignment fairly often.

Medhi Hasan, literally today, has been retweeting multiple MSNBC Twitter posts, so I assume there are no actual shenanigans, there.

The only one I'm not sure about is Ayman, who is less active on social media than the other two in general, so I'm not sure, there.

Hence my confusion.

The show hasn't though. The show tweets several times every 2-3 days, yet nothing for 7. Scroll through, he's got like 15 tweets from the 5th and 6th, then the 1st, then the 28th, and so on. Yet 0 tweets after the 6th. So from posting videos of his show dozens of times a week, to nothing for a week?

Youre trying to make the facts fit your story.

To be clear, literally all I am asking for is any source that isn't just a Tweet. Literally anything. Because so far, the only source has been a Tweet, and two of the three hosts have been explained (Velshi is on assignment, Hasan has been tweeting all day, including retweeting MSNBC).

If Medhi is an example of a host who has been removed, why would be be retweeting MSNBC, the company that removed him, TODAY, including within the last several hours?

Literally all I am asking for is any source that isn't a Tweet, because what you're saying happened doesn't actually make sense, given what we can see, so far.

Also, just fyi, a gap of the 1st to the 5th is four days, not one or two. Thus, expecting consistency from that Twitter account seems shaky, at best.

Like I said, I'm not saying you're wrong. I'd just like actual proof beyond a Tweet, especially since, so far, evidence suggests they HAVEN'T been removed.

Yes, but contrary to the topic. Ali Velshi is on assignment, which is why he can't host his show, and Medhi Hasan has been posting on Twitter all day, including retweeting MSNBC, which would be an odd thing to do if he feels they have wronged him.

Hence why I asked for more proof.

Well I meant the anchors themselves saying they were pulled or suspect that they have been pulled discriminately. That's all it would take. I doubt all 3 would stay silent

Right. And none of them have said that. And, in fact, two of the three are still actively doing things FOR/in favor of MSNBC.

The third is the only unknown, but he's less active on social media than the other two, anyway.

Damn... You know I must say, I've never experienced so much misinformation everywhere I look at such a massive global scale. Like holy crap everything, everyone, everywhere is being misled by rumors of some kind. Rumors that make people enraged. Everything needs to be checked 20x first because the chance it's not true is 80% Ukraine/Russia wasn't this bad... And I was too young for 9/11.

It's so frustrating.
