Size and strength will always beat skill.

Thats why Francis Ngannnou became UFC Champion he was more powerful than anyone and dominated despite his lack of real martial arts training.

skill can absolutely beat size and strength up to a point. Obviously a 4ft kickboxer isn't really going to beat someone like The Rock or Shaq in a street fight

It's silly to say strength and size don't matter in a fight, but it's also silly to say skill can't beat size and strength. There's lots of different factors at play in a fight regardless. Even luck is one.

Your topic title is mocking those who believe skill can be a deciding factor in a fight vs size and strength.

Professional fighters being a minority doesn't change the fact that you're wrong. You don't get to go "No, not like that!" unless you're also putting on clown makeup.

Theres not a single professional fighter that could beat someone from a higher weight class without also getting to that weight themselves.

notice that I didnt say that theres not someone who could move up in a weight class and win.

Im saying theres not somebody who could fight at 150 pounds and beat someone who is 200 pounds.

I mean, there's a lot of factors but a bottom tier heavyweight would beat a top tier lightweight 95% of the time.

People pick random big guys who are just fat, slow, and unskilled and use it as an example.

Two average people, one a black belt and one tall and built but no skill will win 95% of the time.

Idr who won that match but the fact that floyd didn't get knocked out and kept boxing the entire time is just amazing to me

But ik this wasn't a "real" fight. Logan knows some wrestling so would have prob won in a street fight

This doesnt make sense. Are you saying the black belt would usually win, or the person who is tall and built with no training or skill to defend themselves?

Based on the context of the rest of your post, it seems to imply you believe the person with no ability to defend themselves would win virtually all of the time against a person who has had years of training and demonstrable skills to do such.

Alex volkanovski also started mma at 22. became featherweight champ in the ufc and didn't get completely demolished by current lightweight champ when he tried to go double champ the 1st time (he did better than Charles the former LW champ!). He's legit smaller than most of the ppl he faces. At least it looks that way to me. He is just extremely skilled. so he does ok.

Maybe the skill stuff only matter for the lower weights since less KO chance??

I see where you are going tho

Bruce Lee was 57 and typically weighed around 135, and briefly experimented with gaining weight up to around 165. He stated that building more muscle and increasing his weight made him slower, and performed better when he was not at around 165.

While filming Enter The Dragon, Lees weight dropped to just 125!

nope
while Size and strength are a big advantage they don't mean that you will always win especially if you have never been in a fight and you don't know how to fight and there's also the detail of how much size and strenght are you talking about? because you need quite a lot of difference to make up for skill

You aren't going anywhere without any skill whatsoever. Though once you have some level of competency at fighting, a large weight gap is going to normally be far more impactful than a large skill gap.
