Last month I bought a set of tires online and they sent me a $110 debit card in the mail as a rebate.

I used the debit card to buy OSRS bonds.

They are worth about 100 million gold coins.

for some reason, they only let you purchase bonds in pre-selected amounts.

It had to be done in three transactions.

1 x 10 bonds

2 x 1 bond

damn that sucks. id say 3rd party sites are less of a hassle if this were a few years ago but not anymore since jagex bans 3rd party buyers now. rip

they can be redeemed for 14 days of membership subscription.

However, they also hold value and can be traded with other players on a pseudo stock market exchange type of platform.

For example, I could list each of these little bonds for 10 million a piece.

I think those are for a month of the premium membership

All of the bonds that I have total to about:

• 5 months of membership,
• or about 120 million gold coins.

I actually plan on using the 13th bond on one of my alternate accounts.

that means that the bond is untradable.

The reason for this is because I purchased this one with in-game currency on the pseudo stock market item exchange for about 8.1 million coins.

You can upgrade bonds to become tradable for a 10% fee of the market price, but if you pay IRL money for bonds, they are automatically tradable without the extra fee needed.

In other words, all the green bonds can be immediately sold for liquid gold coins about 120 million.
