Seems like a terrible idea for his sake, but it's probably good news for Biden. Honestly, this plus RFK running Independent (who would probably get more access than West) might lead to Biden doing better than he would in a 2-way. We'll see what happens with No Labels.

Cornel West isn't running a serious campaign for president. It may be an ego trip, but given how crazy he's gotten the last 10-15 years, he may actually be sincere about this.
