Like some kind of comfort horror movie for just turning it on and relaxing, similar to cozy murder mysteries?

Dunno if it counts as "horror" but this War of Mine is one of the most relaxing games I've played despite being absolutley depressing

Great movie. For me, anything that's familiar, and not too overly depressing/violent. The Lost Boys, Aliens, Jaws, etc.

Horror itself, especially movies I've seen before. Just throw it on the background and chill out.

The Thing has a surprisingly cozy wind sound effect going on. It makes me get under a blanket and be glad I'm not facing a space monster in Antarctica.

Also Tod Browning's Dracula.

Super underrated. Not on the same level as Young Frankenstein, but still a great Mel Brooks film that doesn't get enough love. Can't believe it has a 11% on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics suck.
