Its a game on Steam, Early Access. Its a game made in RPGMaker, kind of a horror game Ive been told? Heard good and bad things about it. I like the artstyle from what Ive seen, and Ive never been much of a horror guy, so Ill probably try it out.

Its on sale for like 8.99, apparently more episodes are to come.

Only thing I find interesting is the incest.

Finished Episode 1. Ashley is a real psycho lol. Yet she manages to toe the line of being unbearable and being the enjoyable type. I'd heard a bit about cannibalism and demons, but for some reason I didn't expect it to play out quite like it did.

I finished it, I quite enjoyed it. The 2nd episode definitely felt more indepth, makes sense, since the first was more of a demo. Very curious as to where things will go next.

Also, horror game isnt really the correct terminology for it. Its closer to a thriller/drama in video game form. Ill say I liked the game enough that Im down to go get the achievements I missed.

I came across a manlybadasshero and this dude named mrclockworks playing that game, and with me being a mix of doing a whole lotta' nothing/intrigued I watched their playthroughs of the game.......its definitely a game that happens thats for sure.

I admit, I didn't expect the devs to go all in with the incest stuff, but them sobs went full speed ahead with that one ending lmfao. Mother just came out and stated "you fuck her" lol.

Haha. Honestly with the reception it got, I was intrigued. It wasnt necessarily so forthright. Its clear they havent quite crossed that line yet.

Theres two ends for episode 2, and I got that one first try. Im not sure how difficult it is to not get it, theres a bit where you choose whether to stay or go, and I got two different ending dream layouts, and while it looked like I couldve chosen the anger ending, I ended up getting the controversial one. But the when I decided to stay once, it felt like I was railroaded into getting the anger ending.

Overall, while Ashley is a menace, shes easily the character that stands out the most. But its very possible that Andrew could get more development. Especially since I think theres actually gonna be two episode 3s, based on the titles. Oh yeah, I went ahead and got all achievements I had to restart from Episode 1 to get one of them, but it still took less than 30 mins to get to that point.

If Im honest, I didnt expect to like it quite as much as I did. It was pretty engaging, and knowing theres more coming eventually is pretty cool. The gameplay itself is rather thin, but its incorporated well, so its not much of a negative.

My feed is blowing up about it because people are virtue signaling about the incest, but beyond that and the positive reception putting it above other GOTYs, I haven't looked into it much.

The game has a lot to do with the brother and sister's relationship, but it definitely isn't all incest all the time or anything like that. It's pretty engaging. I do think it's worth playing, it's relatively short, but there's at least a bit of replay value in it, with some different dialogue and a different ending depending on some choices made throughout the game.

That was the first tweet I saw about it, and now every other tweet I see is saying the devs and/or anyone who enjoys the game should die because incest bad or something.

Twitter seems to be getting more upset about the game the longer its been out. I understand being uncomfortable about some of the themes presented, but neither of the main characters are real good people, the incestuous themes are only a part of their relationship, and isnt exactly treated as good. I wonder how old some of these people arguing are.

It's easy clout.

You know these same people won't dare to criticize something like Game of Thrones. Not without immediately going private after, anyway.

Assuming it sells really well this game strikes me as something that just might have the potential to pull a corpse party. Not story going off the rails wise, I mean something that started off as a more novel/rpg maker type of thing, eventually builds a nice budget, and then one day get like a actual game out of it. Its a weird world with assassins and demons around so there is something there for that, lol.
