Highest quality, 4 devices streaming at once. So yes 4k for whatever was shot in it.

For added context, the ad-supported and standard plans haven't changed prices. Standard plan will remain $15.99.

The basic plan is being phased out and no longer available for new subscribers. I guess this is to encourage people to upgrade to standard.

Standard does come with one extra member. For 8 bucks but still. Think premium comes with two new members

4K isn't worth double the price. Locking HDR behind the Premium sub is fucked up tho.

best idea in this topic imo.

should do so. what they offer isn't that good tbh until they started cutting off all the good stuff.

there's other services you can subscribe that is cheaper and more content.

It's more expensive now. Most cable companies are actually packaging cable with Internet now. So you can get cheapish internet with cable slapped in there.

We cut Netflix a few months ago and I really honestly don't miss it. Every now and then I want to watch a show like the newest Mike Flanagan series, but the negatives of the pricing combined with the almost-certainty that any show that's not miniseries will be cancelled before it ends has me not missing it at all. Not to mention the movies available only get worse (Amazon and HBO both have deeper libraries of older films).

They acted as though everyone was sharing with each other. That's the problem. They'd have been better off having plans where you could dictate how many devices could run per account. Otherwise it's just dumb and a ripoff for people alone.

It's stupid to make plans that would encourage people to share.

4 devices doesnt mean 4 people unless theyre at the same address and watching on 4 devices at that address. I can see two, cant imagine 4 unless Ive got children cause they never want to share lol.

I dropped Netflix a while ago. I kept it for so long because I thought my parents used it a lot. Then after the password sharing crackdown I asked and they said they didnt use it that much either. And tbh I found myself using it to watch Seinfeld, which I didnt even need to because Ive got the DVDs lol. So bye bye Netflix.

Ill probably sign up for a month if they do another season of Wednesday, or if I get the itch to rewatch the Dark Crystal show or finish The Walking Dead.

That plan, or even their basic plan, doesnt seem worth it to me. All I ever hear about Netflix these days is stuff about price hikes, taking away password sharing, and removing popular shows, so its not for me.

I really think that society needs to remove itself from its obsession with television and I think the modern ability to binge watch years of episodes in a couple of days has negative effects on us. When prices for groceries, medicine, and gas are through the roof, most peoples entertainment budget is the first thing to go.
