Vice City will always be my favorite. Born in 76 and a big time 80's kid. That whole Miami Vice vibe and absolutely the best soundtrack hands down in the series will always keep Vice City at #1 though from a technical perspective the game hasn't aged well.

i thought so too until i started replaying it recently. before this, went through many hours of GTAO randomly, motivated me to play through IV again, and now i'm on SA. in my entire life, i've probably played III more than all the others, too. just based on that...
...there are a lot of things that are just annoying or bothersome about SA. the pacing is way off. i remember the gang territory being more fun than what it actually is. the city layouts, too, just aren't as great as i remember them being. maybe it was the music, and the scope of it all, but i really remember it being a better game than what i'm playing through right now. some of the mechanics are fun though. working out. eating. that kind of stuff you don't really get to see much these days either (because they're usually a nuisance, but they work here). but a lot of it isn't really all that great... --- Disclaimer: There's a good chance the above post could be sarcasm. My favourites are III (nostalgia) and V (overall)
