I have only been in the cheapest lodgings but I was curious as to whether people here had tried out the presidential suites or higher end rooms.

And what was it like? Private Jacuzzi?

I've been in a mid tier hotel room that I was awarded by accident after a room I booked at a different hotel turned out to not exist. The travel agency set me up with a massive upgrade.

It was nice. I'd definitely splurge for it if I traveled a lot.

I went to Sarasota, Florida. I stayed in a hotel room that had a glorious view of the Gulf of Mexico. And a private pool for hotel guests, with a bar that had mojito drinks. I didn't have a jacuzzi, though

I've stayed in Hilton and Mariott suites before, my dad was a corporate shill and we got a lot of trips.

I forget why, but we were able to take a peek inside one of the big suites in a Vegas casino. I just remember the ceilings being very high. This was like 25 years ago.

I remember going to America and getting a suite in a Conrad in the town centre.

Very posh, there were two double beds in the rooms (one with a hard mattress, one with a softer mattress). The shower had two heads, and the shitter had a pullout TV on the wall too.
