Have you ever actively tried to watch less wrestling or stop completely? What was it like? Was it difficult?
I feel like most people get bored and drift away from it naturally.

I don't actually watch the shows, but whenever I'm bored, seeing what's happening with wrestling - whether on the actual show or just online in general - is one of the first things I default to. The show highlights, rumors, old stuff, even dumb trivia from time to time. It can be fun but you spend a lot of time invested and the payoffs never last very long.
Lately I've been thinking about how it really is one big swirl that repeatedly delivers you the same few things repackaged. I doubt it's that far removed from doom-scrolling.
I'd like to try and replace it with something better.

If you want to watch less notice how stale and repetitive it is. Or how entitled wrestlers are when it comes to criticism.

Worked for me.

It was easy to quit because I don't like what they are putting out now. I'll occasionally still watch some of the older stuff though.

I don't really mind having a pointless time killer interest. It's just wrestling isn't nearly as fun as it used to be even a few years ago.
A lot of the time I'll watch a few videos and then walk away disappointed that I can't find something big and engaging enough to replace it with.

I used to have a creative hobby that I eventually got bored of. I think that's what wrestling originally replaced.

It just feels like a bunch of carnival clowns putting on a show for 10 year olds.
