I haven't played him on Hard mode yet, but my friend who's still on normal or easy mode was just telling me a couple days ago how he couldn't beat the fight. I didn't struggle much on my first playthrough.

I lost many a fight in that game, but I don't remember ever losing to Hell House. It sure liked to hit a lot, but manageably I think?

Hell House is mostly just a matter of patience, even on Hard. Once you understand its progression, it's not too bad. It's probably the hardest "normal" (read: non-arena) boss in the game though.

I had trouble the first time I fought him since I didn't have all the elements but I fought him two more times on hard and he was easy. Knowing his gimmick really makes it easier. I think bahamut gave me the most trouble but idr
