I enjoy many things that are popular and dislike many things that are popular but the reason I dislike them isn't because they are popular. I have honestly never understood that. Also if I liked something that became popular I never lied and tried to act like I was into it before it became popular. That being said, when The Red Hot Chili Peppers reased "Dani California," my friends and I all agreed to NOT listen to it for several months. Like a "god damn it" shakes fist at the fact that it still makes gangbusters feeling, lol. I did try to give call of duty a shot in the 360 days, but in the end it just isn't for me. My favorite games of the time was stuff like unreal tournament, unreal championship 2 on the original xbox, return to castle wolfenstein, and quake 3 arena. I like gears of war's multiplayer a lot because even though it isn't quite a arena shooter with all the bouncing around and railgun insta-gibs, it still kind of has that spirit I guess. Gears 3 is still has my favorite online competitive mode.
