I wonder if the judge is going to be scheduling another trial any time soon.

They're trying to work out the probation stuff since Jenna Ellis lives in Colorado. They have flights out scheduled this afternoon, but the judge says he doesn't know if that's going to be possible. It apparently depends on how the process goes. Looks like the judge is going to allow her to fly back home since she has complied.

MAGA sites are in denial so far. Claims that Georgia has no case if things go to trial, there's nothing to flip on, and their usual disbelief that people can tell the truth on the stand.

None of these fuckers will pay for their crimes against this country. Not one.

ANOTHER fucker that isn't going to jail!

The only one that might go to jail is Rudy, b/c he's too high up to offer a plea deal (I bet the prosecutors will manage to disappoint us, though) but still below the Teflon Don and potentially accountable.

They're giving away all these hall passes just to hopefully toss Rudy and Trump in jail, both of whom are super fucking old even if they do go, so a long sentence is meaningless.
Meanwhile, all these FELONS being let go are middle age or younger, and will continue to terrorize our country for decades. We're watching the genesis of the next Roger Stone and Oliver North right before our eyes.

Yeah, I really don't believe her at all. They never had anything beyond affidavits that were supposedly signed by... people... While mostly true, I still think it's kind of silly to get mad at these deals... for now. Like, in the grand scheme of things, I don't give a shit about Powel or Ellis if it means Donnie has even a remote possibility of facing the tiniest bit of consequences.* Rudy MAYBE, but I don't care about Scott fucking Hall unless he's walking out with Kevin Nash.

*that said... I'm very much holding my breath on what sort of "consequences" Donnie ultimately faces.

Theyre being offered plea deals because the prosecution knows that they have information which if revealed can either create superseding indictments or prove the current indictments beyond a reasonable doubt. If they didnt possess valuable information, pleas wouldnt be offered. They arent doing this to be nice.

If they don't corroborate what the prosecution already knows completely and truthfully, they end up with maximum sentences and all their assets are seized. Trump is going to prison, it will happen, there is too much on the table not to send his ass to prison. Then it becomes messaging time that if anyone thinks about doing this again, the punishment will be even stiffer.

Yeah, I understand that's how plea deals work in general, but Trump will never face any actual consequences anyway so these plea deal are just the justice system being nice like they always are when it comes to Republicans and their henchmen. Regular people have gotten harsher sentences for lesser crimes and would never get any sweet deals like these folks will get. Look at how many lenient sentences the 1/6 terrorists got.

I think one of the biggest things of value out of these plea deals is that they're being forced to admit that they were wrong for once. Them and millions of Trump supporters have been gaslighting the shit out of us for YEARS and NEVER showed any evidence to support their claims. All they had was made up conspiracy theory bullshit like that 2000 Mules garbage.

Few things:

1. The more evidence you have against Trump the easier it is to win.
2. Less defendants at trial means a faster trial. Getting everyone guilty verdicts isn't gonna fucking matter if all of them team up to use procedural stalling tactics to get the verdict delayed for 5 years.
3. Light sentences are designed to encourage people to plead guilty sooner rather than later. In RICO the first few guilty pleas always get off easy. The longer you wait to plead guilty, the less lenient the deals will be.
4. Ellis, Chesebro, and Powell's offenses are relatively minor compared to Meadows and Giuliani, so it makes sense that they get lighter sentences.
5. The point of this indictment is to bring down Trump. Everyone else is just collateral.

Them "admitting" their crimes under threat of jail otherwise means absolutely nothing to MAGA.
Actually turning against Trump would ruin them (and even that would probably be water under the bridge a few years after Donnie's dead), but admitting wrong-doing carries no weight for them anymore. It's piss easy to conspiracy theory away.
